NTLI in Feminist Transformational Leadership training in Nairobi

The Director and the Communication officer of The National Transformational Leadership Institute had a successful trip to attend a training on Developing Feminist Leaders for a just and secure Africa held from 24th – 30th   March 2019 at Stoni Athi Resort in Nairobi, Kenya.

This training was convened by Akina Mama wa Afrika, a Pan African Feminist organization with support from UN Women Regional Office for Eastern and Southern Africa. It was attended by thirteen countries from the region; Botswana, Burundi, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, Rwanda, South Africa, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe

Exchanging ideas at the institute is always the way to go

The meeting had 25 young Africa women leaders from NGOs, Government agencies and activists for women’s rights for a five days’ workshop in the African Women’s Leadership Institute.
